step 1

take a square pice of paper, any size will do as long as it's a square

fold the edges of the paper to the center, turning the big square into a small square with 4 flaps

step 3

take the small square ypu just made and flip it over, do the same folds you did previously, making sure all the edges meet in the center and it makes a perfect square (or at least close enough)

step 4

Grab the quare and fold it in half making sure that what you just folded stays inside and that the outside looks like a small dimond.

step 5

color your fortune teller, make sure to color all sides including front and back

step 6

Write your fortunes inside the fortune teller and ask your friends to pick a number, once they have picked a number just open and close the fortune teller as you see in the picture, open it and close it in both directions for the number of times yout friend told you, once go reached the number open the fortune and read it out loud.
